Could someone please give a link that gives the facts concerning McCain's leaving his wife when her legs were crushed? I was... gag...accused of being a Bush supporter when discussing this today. Thanks in advance!

I sure would like to know where that story started. I tried to learn about whatever dirt I could on McCain before I decided to back him all the way to the White House - had never heard of that one before... sigh....

No link, but this was reported in Newsweek, Time, etc, that his wife wiated for McCain while he was a POW, and that after he was released, he divoreced her. No firm recollecion, but I go the impression the accident that paralyzed (frmr) Mrs. McCain took place while he was incarcerated or after his release. McCain is said to have stated it was the worst thing he ever did ....

The website www.wightings.com had a most enlightening article about McCain, awhile ago...it is now under their archives. I am link- challenged, but to find it, go under Keyword Search and type in John McCain. It will take you to several articles about him, the first one being rather chilling.
