I realized that Dr. DelAmico sort of suddenly disappeared. How did they write her exit? Will Carter ever get a break with the ladies? i think he needs to stay away from blondes.

She just kind of dissappeared between the 4th and 5th seasons, and Carter said that she left to work in a peds ER in Philly, to be with family, and Max Rosher aka chipmunk guy, so we never actually saw her leave.

I think she's locked up in a psychiatric unit in Philly... I mean who in their right mind would take Max Rosher over Carter. Give me a break!!

I was sorry to see Dr. Delmico go.. I really liked her. I was annoyed at her when she got all hung up on Carter's money.

Regarding Carter's choice in women: Other than Delmico, it's been HORRID!!!

Remember the pediatrician he was bedding? His "boss"!

I really, really, did not like the episodes where he was courting/ sleeping with his cousins ex.

Don't get me going on his never really got off the ground relationship with Lucy. Although, I did enjoy the scene where she caught him scoping out her rear.. :) That was cute.

Maria Bello did just disappear between seasons. I last saw her with Mel Gibson (not a bad back up to Carter!) in Payback. Wish she hadn't left ER but as in real life-people come and go.

I was so happy when she left! She was the one and only ( well, thats not entirely true, I don't really like Cleo)main character who I absolutely could not stand. I'm not exactly sure why, I guess it was her snotty attitude and high handed ways with Carter really ticked me off. But anyway, she left because she married the her druggie boyfriend Max, and ditched Chicago for Philadelphia. Good riddance!!!
