DEAR SHARON

WE LIVE IN WISCONSIN AND HAVE 4 CHILDREN. OUR OLDEST GIRL IS 16! SHE IS NOT HOMESCHOOLED, BUT OUR 14 YEAR OLD SON WAS FOR 1 1/2 YEARS AND OUR ALMOST-3-YR. OLD AND OUR 18 MO. OLD WILL BE HOMESCHOOLED. I ALSO LIKE THE SIMPLE LIFE, COOKING, GARDENING AND CANNING. WE AREN'T RAISING ANY ANIMALS RIGHT NOW, BUT WHEN IT WARMS UP HERE WE'LL PROBABLY START WITH SOME CHICKENS AND RABBITS. I WOULD ENJOY HEARING FROM YOU.

Hi Sharon, My family wouldn't mind being your pen-pal either. We also are a Christian family and homeschool. I have 2 girls, ages 15 & 13. The youngest is also taking a steer to 4H this year. She's nervous about it! This is the first time she's ever done it. We live on a small hobby farm, raise our own meat and vegetables. We are expecting the goats to kid sometime towards the end of next month. We lost my husband suddenly in a logging accident in July of '98, so the changes have been extremely hard! Time does help with things like this, although you never get over it completely. My oldest daughter loves snowboarding and sports and the youngest likes to talk, bake, work with her steer and dream one day of owning a horse. Please feel free to write anytime. We love getting mail! HAVE A GREAT DAY! Say "hi" to your Mom for me.

Hi Sharon i am a 19 teen year old who lives in Kentucky. I grew up in the city but now i live in the country and i have plans for a garden this summer. If you are intreasted in becoming pen pals please e-mail me. I know that you said that you wanted some one who had things in common with you, but i am intersted in the things that you listed.
