...from any other digital cameras besides Epson? Any one had any experience doing this?

The direct print feature only works on Epson cameras. The cameras utilize the enclosed Mac serial cable for communication with the printer. Honestly, its a pretty lame feature as the camera doesn't have much horsepower and spools the file very slowly resulting in prints that take much longer than off the computer. Also you cant do any manipulation in the camera, so theres no way to get the best results from the camera as I have yet to see a consumer digicam image that couldn't be really tweaked in photoshop for better printing.
