i have an old eos 100qd. was wondering if canon ever made a grip for it. or if the bp-50 (battery pack/grip) for the elan ii would work on this...thanks in advance

The BP-50 does not fit the EOS 100/Elan. Canon did make an extended grip for it though. I think it was the GR-70. It extended the length a bit and, I believe, it came with a wrist strap. I had a 10s with one (GR-60 for the 10s). It was nice to hold, but didn't allow you to set the camera down on a flat bottom.
