? does Aeon always die

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Aeon Flux : One Thread

Ok was just thinking about Aeon, and why does Aeon always die? It's not fair!! I think Trevor should die once in awhile. Don't you think?Another quick question How come there is never a continuing aeon flux show? It always starts a new show. And does anyone ever wonder who tells aeon to do all of these so called assingment? Or does she just do her own thing? Just a thought.

Your AOL address says it all, dear. These are all valid questions, but perhaps you should have read the rest of the forum before posting them. Just a thought.

True, true. Cruelty withdrawn. Trevor does die in "Tide," in my opinion the coolest short. There's a cool discussion about the continuity of the show under "Aeon in any order?" and I think part of the episode guide of "A Last Time for Everything" deals with who Aeon is working for. Check it out.

Since there is no continuation throughout the episodes, more variety is possible. So instead of having 3 or 4 stories, they have the same number of completely different stories as they have 30 minute episodes ( plus the shorts ). The result is a more varied and rich look into the flux universe. Maybe this is the reason the show was made in this manner, or maybe it was just artistic license - probably the reason Fon dies alot, also.

Peter Chung does not want to be committed to doing one story one way, he dreams of Aeon himself, but his fantasy needs space. Aeon herself does not want to be tied down to one life anyway, who does she work for? Herself. That is why Trevor Goodchild is so dangerous to her, he represents slavery of heart, but her heart is already a slave to him, thanks to Peter Chung!
