Need better pay? be your own assistant!!

Need a job? Tom Green, former WSDOT employee and former Chelan County commissioner just found one. Green was hired to serve as interim general manager of the Link bus system in Wenatchee at a pay rate of $6090.00 per month. Not bad pay.

Green was also hired to be the interim assistant general manager of the Link bus system at a pay rate of $200.00 per day. Not bad pay.

But to be both? the manager and the assistant manager at the same time? and be paid for each job? I guess in a bureaucrats mind it works. If Tom Green the manager can not make it to a meeting or make a decision, then Tom Green the assistant manager could do that part of the job.

And you wonder where your tax dollars go? and why transit systems need truck loads of dollars to stay on the road? Could this be part of the problem? Only in Washington,,, I hope!!!
