If you were forced to give up many things in your life, belongings or experiences, places or activities, what could you NOT deprive yourself of?

Answers

excellent question!

paint, paintbrushes, canvas
books i could read repeatedly (esp. ones by tim powers, charles de lint)
a few good cds (hard to choose - garbage, the cure, 80s compilations) and a cd player
photo albums

i could live without a tv, computer (i think! if i absolutely had to! shudder), and large wardrobe. and it should go without saying that i'd keep emorog, worthy, and my cats, but they were outside the scope of the question, i think.

I could not live without music or communication. Lucky thing is I know how to do both with myself (think about that one for awhile) so I will never be without them, likely.

Unless I stop being in which case I would not think about it. . .te he
