OT: On LadyLogic (brief)

I've asked before, and never received an answer. Does anyone know if LL is really female? "Her" posts seem to me the work of a thirteen year old boy.

A sober reply appreciated,

Frank

She was in bok's chat room the other night, and sounded female, tried to pick a fight with Cherri. Lady sounded pretty low rent.

Yes.

I have e-mails from regular posters, complaining, who have even met her in Phoenix.

I just called her. Diane listed her phone # below. ( FBI post a few lines below). Definitely a female on the answering machine. We should all call and fill up that answering machine with complaints.

Thanks all, but "sexist" enough to be disappointed in the truth,

My impression is that she is a lonely woman trolling for friends and/or lovers on the Net. When she thinks she has found one and they disagree with her she snaps. The spam is deplorable, but I wouldn't call the cops on her. Just get her TOSed if possible. I don't think she deserves prison, just banishment.

Strange person that would have a phone number listed in the phone book but not address -- usually you have both or neither. Not sure what to make of such a person.

I think Ron Banks has her address. Sysops probably have Ron's email somewhere and can ask him.

LL and Cheri. Charming thought. Are they fighting it out in colored ink? shades of last fall so to speak. Perhaps they are well matched, deserve one another and all of that. Hang in there, Diane and sysops.

The 13 yr olds who exhibit this kind of behavior...that's often a behavior pattern associated with self perceived "outc asts" (as many 13 yr olds perceive themselves to be). Most grow out of it (when they finally land a girlfriend, get a spot on a debating team, join a computer club etc. Some don't, of course (Columbine for ex) If LL is an adult,LL is clearly a VERY disturbed individual. At this point, her psychosis seems directed at annoying but harmless spam to Internet forums. With this type of psychosis, it's hard to say if it will remain harmless but annoying or escalate. If anyone actually knows this individual, it'd be a good idea to contact in person her family members to see if they can get her some help. I would NOT recommend calling her or trying to confront her in person.

canthappen - the LL troll crossed the line a very long time ago. she has made threats. she deserves to be taken seriously and reported to the authorities.

I, too, was in Bok's Chatroom the other night when LL was abusive to Cherri and actually feel pity for this woman (LL).

It has been said there is a thin line between genius and madness.

About calling and leaving messages on her answering machine. Do you people really think that is wise? What if she happens to have caller id? Then she would know each of your phone numbers. Personally, I would HATE to think that she had mine.

I agree with Hi, Had It and JustaThought: This is a deranged person, one who is very hostile, needs help, and could be dangerous. When I saw her phone #, I thought exactly what Just said: I would dread her having my phone # in return. If we identify this with what Hi said, then she could be in the same state of mind that the Columbine destroyers were, and could be a danger to others.

The FBI may be busy, but it is better to try them than to not try at all. Thank you, Syssops, for your hard work on this forum, but particularly, in handling this disturbance so well.
