Can you un-bore yourself? Do you even get bored in the first place?

Of course I get bored. I get bored doing the laundry, vacuuming and dusting. Luckily I have an active imagination, and can daydream whilst I accomplish theses mundane chores. you would be surprised how often I have saved the world/won the race/and taken the princess to bed.

Occasionally I get bored without being distracted by chores, and then I bury myself in a book, (my favorites being mystery, adventure and humor) but I can also pop in some CDs or turn on my favorite radio station (blatent promotion impending) 1055 Triple M and involve myself with some great tunes.

I don't really get bored. About the only time is when I am in a situation where I am with others waiting for them, like them getting ready to leave or waiting for them to be ready/motivated to do something else, and that is only when my doing something else in the meantime would interfere with or slow down their progress. Then I usually think about things in my head or enjoy the physical/visual world around me. Boredom is basically irrelevant.

I get bored alot. If theres no one else around I'll make up a story in my head. If that doesn't work I read (usually horror) or listen to a cd.

When I get bored, or when I can afford the time to get bored, I usually contribute time to the completion of a project, usually concerning my children or family. I also write to contribute to the advancement of my education or career. The better off I am, thee better off my family will be. This usually involves writing to my congressmen ( and congresswomen), or contributing to my favorite charities, especially The Lions Club, and the Christian Childrens Fund. If you are bored, go out there and help someone else. It will make you, and them better due to your efforts. Very rewarding!
