Edgar Allan Poe's writing was obviously very dark and well, disturbed. He moved around a lot and removed from his family. He felt very isolated. Do you think this greatly affected his writing?

I come on this website to see how Edgar Allan Poe's childhood effected his writing...Well obviously I got nothing! Why is it that when you need something done, it can't be done right like this. I thought everyone here would reply a reasonable, meaningful, useful answer to this guys question. But boy was I wrong! All we got was "hey hey hey guys" and " you guys are gay"! I mean what's up with that?
