Nikon-Konica mount

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Konica 35mm SLRs : One Thread

I'm Italian and so I'm sorry for my bad English. I have an old Konica TC and a new Nikon AF. Does anyone know if exists an adapter ring to mount Nikon lenses on Konica bodies (I want continue to use my TC, while I'm waiting for new Konica SLR...)?

Thank you.

Nikon to Konica Adapter

Alberto,

There was an adapter to fit Nikon lenses to the Konica AR (K/AR) mount. This allowed the lens to be used MANUALLY, only.

Unfortunately, these adapters are rare, and, when offered for sale, usually sell for more than $100.

nikon to Konica adapter

The adapter in question is up on eBay as we speak. It's already over fifty bucks, and I don't recall the time left on the auction, but JWK is right, one hundred bucks isn't out of the question at all. I bought four of them about five years ago for ten bucks apiece. They're gone. I sold them for ten bucks apiece too. Can't understand why I don't make any mney in this business. But of course, this was before eBay!

Homebrew Nikon-Konica Adapter?

These adapters are no more than a Konica male bayonet on one end and a Nikon female on the other. There's no ee-coupling, or any moving parts. The only critical design element seems to be the thickness overall. I have a "generic" Konica reverse adapter with the requisite threads. All it would take is a Nikon female bayonet, robbed from a cheap tele-extender or somesuch. My local camera shop has a "junk box" that I bet has something of use.

Then, given the overall thickness necessary(Fred, could you measure yours)off to the machine shop to graft them together.

Am I missing something here? This seems so simple...
