who's good who's bad

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Aeon Flux : One Thread

I was thinking about aeon today, and I came to the conclusion that there is no good or bad guy to Aeon Flux. Does anyone feel the same way? I mean sometimes like in that human destructo ray episode didn't you just want to kill Aeon when she killed off the human race? Then in one where Aeon saves Trevor from being accused of kid napping Calvius. Crazy 'anite it?

I agree. Like real life, there is no black or white, only shades of gray in this *cartoon*. Good and Bad are effectively relative, as some citizens of Bregna might benefit from Trevor's well-intended projects, and certainly some have met with bad happenstance through Fon as she tries to put an end to some of Trevor's more "ill- conceived ( again, reletive )" plans.

I think the whole concept of "evil" is extemely unrealistic. I mean, look at real life. How many people out there honestly say to themselves "Boy oh boy, am I ever evil!" Well, okay, there are a few loonies out there, but I don't think they count. How many people do you think are out there plotting to take over ther world with an evil maniacal laugh? I'll give you a hint. It ain't a number any higher than zero.

Frostbite what are you talking about i just wanted to point out the fact that there's no true villian or hero in Aeon. Which i think is great. It seems to me that no matter what i watch it's always the same boring good vrs evil crap. In Aeon however it's a bit strange how hero and villan are of no real importance. it's kinda like a debate diff people that watch it always have diff thoughts of what is right and what is wrong. Am i making any since or am i just babaling again. if i am sorry.

Just know, that you can not spell worth a darn. And if you are that excited to post a message... remember, we all miss this show, I highly doubt any of us are checking this board daily... Soooo... slow down when you type and, well, just read your post before you send it blindly and look (well, for our purposes here, "sound") silly. Hang in there, Aeonfluxfan... I don't want you to quit posting, your takes are just too funny.

Umm gee let me think....hell no!!! i have better things to do than spend a life time on the computer to check my spelling...so that i may suit you...and it's not like this site has a spell check dude...heh yeah and more stuff!!!!!

You know, you're right it is strange how they do not exactly comment on the right/wrong aspect, but there is plenty of obvious examples in every story of this. Do you think they are trying to prompt the audience to consider the behavior for themselves?

Yeah i agree with you. Sometimes i think aeon is right and sometimes i believe trevor is right. And sometimes just sometimes i don't agree with either one..i donno maybe that is why i like the show so much.... You are constantly taking different sides....and there is never really a right side, it's based on how u view that certain episode...
