Is something wrong with the People Search on Yahoo? I have not been able to reach that specified directory server for 10 days now. Why is yahoo host unreachable? Is everyone having this problem????

Works fine for me. I went to www.yahoo.com, hit the People Search link, and typed a name, city & state. E-mail search also worked. <:)=

I had my Netscape configured so that a click on the search button would offer me six or seven choices of search engines from which I could choose. Now, when I click it, I'm offered only Netscape Search. I think they may be intercepting their page that offers Yahoo in order to take some of the load off.

Yesterday I was booted off the internet and could not reconnect(while reading this forum no less),also there were certain sites that came up as "forbidden to access,no permission from server".Called my server,his answer was that netscape (owned by aol)was warring over being dropped by cox cable (my local server),so they simply cut off access to their systems for severals hours to inconvienence the customers.This is also a tactic used by aol before I dropped them.Sometimes competition doesn't lead to better service,at least not for awhile!
