greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

Does anyone know a camera to take panoramic pictures. I got $1500 to buy it and $ 500 for accessories. Please, give me good advice. In the traditional way the pictures are 11" X 40"

Also if you have knowledge about printer, please tell me.

Thanks.

Before you spend a lot of money on equipment try one of the many Panoramic Software programs. You can download Cool 360 from their site for a trial period. You can get photostich free when you purchase a canon printer or camera. I use Canon's photostich. It's incredible. You take a series of pictures overlapping 10 to 50%, Download them into the computer. Import the pictures and arrange them in the correct order from right to left, then let the program stitch them together. The result is one seamless shot. You can make 360s ane use Quicktime to view on a web site. You can stitch scanned images too.

I have an Olympus Camedia C5050 zoom digital camera. Using the Olympus Dx storage card you can take up to 10 pictures to be combined into a panarama. After downloading it into the included Olympus software, you can stitch them together seamlessly into a beautiful panarama.
