I know the rebels regularly attack Columbia's infrastructure...but it sure would be a good cover for other problems.....

Colombia's Cano Limon oil pipeline shut by new rebel bomb attack

Colombia's second-largest crude export pipeline was shut down for a third straight day Monday after another bomb attack by Marxist rebels, state oil company Ecopetrol said.

A company spokesman said the latest attack on the 230,000 barrel per day capacity Cano Limon-Covenas pipeline -- the seventh this year -- occurred at midday Saturday in an area 272 miles (439) km west of the Cano Limon field operated by Occidental Petroleum Corp (OXY-N)
