Panasonic encoder plugin for Premiere

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I'm about to take my first plunge into VCD and buy capture hardware supplied with Premiere 5.1. I downloaded the Panasonic encoder (standalone) and saw that you can set the file output to VCD/NTSC or VCD/PAL.

Question: if I buy the Panasonic plugin for Premiere, can I still set the file output to a VCD type ? Has anyone done this without problems.

Appreciate your help before I splash out $$$$. Thanks Guy

Answers

sure that will not be a problem. It has the same functions as the standalone version.

Actually the plugin does not have all the features of the stand alone, most of the advanced features are missing from the version I am using.

Standbye Guy!

Sorry - my email address was wrong - @yahoo.com not @video.com. Video is on the brain. Must get out more.

You have already had this answered. Actually, I have a question. Where do I find the Panasonic Premier plugin?

If I buy the stand alone, how much is it and will it work in the background like the plugin, or do I need to perform some step(s) with the stand-alone?

Please e-mail me any answers.

Thanks,

Ty
