Alert II Causes Scare at Airport

Some tense moments Sunday night at the Des Moines Airport. That's because a 727 travelling from Denver to Des Moines was in danger of making an emergency landing, or worse. Fire and rescue crews from all over the metro area were speeding toward the aiport in case the worst happened. Luckily, the plane landed safely. There were 140 passengers on board at the time. They say they knew there was a problem but no one thought it was very serious. People working at the airport say the United plane was unable to make right turns
