Madness,

So what's new? The Evil Empire and its Southern counterpart have been doing this since WWII. When the tanks start rolling and the missles flying at *someone*, then it'll be for real. For now it's just their versions of Komrade Klinton securing their futures as best they can.

BTW in America we'll probably be uninvolved (until some politico decides to involve us). Lotsa ocean and all. Still, it's always nice to have that heap o' beans to sit on...

Having yet to be let down by faith in God,

Frank

This may sound snippy, but if we can't even spell, why bother living?, hey comrade?

-- INever (INevercheckmy@onebox.com), February 13, 2000.

INever,

What did I spell incorrectly (unintentionally)? And as long as we're being "snippy", how about adding poor sentence structure to your list of reasons to shoot yourself in the head?

Having nothing better to do than bicker with you,

Frank

Hey madness, your spelling is total madness and it looks like you're a seven year old trying to join the adults. Go back to High school!

this is interesting. as i read your piece, madness, i wondered how long it would take the "perfectionists" to be so horribly rude to correct any mistakes you might have made. didn't take long did it? they couldn't even hold those evil tongues of theirs for maybe two posts. you perfectionists must be a joy to live with. they got so caught up in the mechanics, they forgot to even read your content. but your points are well taken.

There will be a quiz tomorrow.

To get back on track, I would be less concerned if it looked like we (the US) recognized that it WAS a chess game. As it looks now, the Sov-China Axis is playing chess, and the US is playing checkers, and not that well.

Not checkers, Chuck, Pac-Man... "wokka, wokka"...

Instead of correcting spelling and hurling insults, why can't you just concentrate on the message? The message is very clear - Look at the countries that appear to be working together - Russia is unstable politically and economically - China will appear to work with Russia, but, in the final analysis, the Chinese consider the Russians barbarians - North Korea is governed by a madman - Iraq is governed by a madman - This odd "alliance" will produce a destabilizing effect in world politics - It is clear that Russia is going for the oil - Iraq will assist Russia because Iraq does not have any oil, which is why Iraq attacked Kuwait - North Korea wants reunification - China supports that if only to drive out the United States - Another problem for NATO is that Iraq and North Korea are developing nuclear weapons that are capable of reaching NATO soil - In the world of deterrence, this might be the best time to launch a pre-emptive surgical strike in order to eradicate the nuclear threat of Iraq and North Korea - Israel launched one last week on her neighbor - We might be best served to follow the example - Of course, a pre-emptive surgical strike will probably lead to WWIII - At this point in history, though, NATO is better prepared to fight a global war than Russia, China, Iraq and North Korea - Just a few thoughts

Right! So be ready. In the case of one world gov.(can't spell it) They intend to rule.

Chess is a game of strategy.

Overt actions have risky consequences. A strong player knows how to set up the board along the way. An offensive move may actually result in many lost pieces therefore giving the advantage to the *perceived* defense. Potential end result--stalemate. Anyway...let's not forget...the Queen is the most powerful piece. =)

>>Spell Check off LOL
