Thoughts about the Traditional News Media

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

If the traditional news media is for McCain, I say BEWARE. Any one they promote, in my opinion, is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I will READ, READ, READ about all the backgrounds of these wanna bes before I vote. Never again do I want another administration in the White House like we have now. If we keep our faith the right man will win. You only lose when you quit trying.

The traditional news media is corporate owned, all of it. I see the corporate media as a way for the corporations to adjust what the world thinks of as "normal". As to what the wanna bes are really like, I don't think you will know before their actions in office. Sad but true.

Yup--it sucks. We are way past where we want to be.

Wouldn't it just be fun to start a national boycott against any corporate supported candidate--that would bring us down to ZERO! Throw in a temporay gov and outlaw the whole financing picture. and then have a real vote on an even playing field.

Not the basketball coach :: Look closely at the current candidates. McCain is the only one who comes form a somewhat middle class family. Ozone AL and the rest look like silver (spoon/tongue) boys.
