Mr. Schizophrenic got the knife was when he was in the lounge wandering. and Lucy got him, he said something like he wanted to get a drink of water.

Mr. schizophrenic got the knife in the lounge (possibly one that was being used for the staff's valentine cake or another possibility is that he lifted it out of his visitor's backpack or just had it to begin with when he came in the e.r. Also, the guy that played mr. schizo was in a failed sitcom with jason bateman in a show set in -where else- chicago overlooking wrigley field. Anyone know the show name, i have forgotten it?

Connie even said on the show that they were going to use the knife to cut the blue heart cake.And later on in the show Luka told a lady at the front desk,"You need a 6 inch bucher knife to cut a cake?" And her response was,"I didn't know, thats what they told me to use."

Paul Sobriki got the knife in the lounge when he was wondering in the lounge. They were going to use it to cut the Valentines Day cake.

Paul Sobricki used the knife that the staff were going to use to cut the Valentine's day cake, something that Connie said as soon as it fell on the floor when Abby was looking for the rapid infuser kit. My opinion is that, since everyone knew what was going to happen to Lucy and Carter, when somebody (I really can't remember who had this conversation with who) said, I think *before* Carter was stabbed,that they should have a bigger knife and the answer was, 'I couldn't find it', we were supposed to get the ominous music playing in our heads.

The main thing that told us what Sobricki had stabbed them with was, when Carter and Lucy were in the OR and things in the ER had calmed down (sort of), we got a flash of conversation at the admit desk when Luka said to Amira, 'You need a six inch butcher knife to cut cake?' 'I didn't bring it, they just told me that's what we use.'
