I have an Olympus D320L camera, It was factory refurbished, and for me is only 3 weeks old. When I purchased this I also bought an 8mg Delkin Olympus Smart Media card. I cannot get it to 'hold' a format. I have tried through the camera, (yes I read the manual)and through the Floppy adaptor. It formats I put it in the camera and take 1 or 2 pics and the number of pics 'togo' changes by 20 to 30 pics, then it tells me I have non leftand the counter shows 00. I also have a 2mg card that works perfectly. Q) Is the camera defective? Q) is the card defective? Q) Is it operator error

Hi Dawn. I have an Olympus D400zoom. I had a problem with one of my smart media cards where I couldn't upload some of the pictures to my computer and it also wouldn't format the disk properly in my computer or in the camera. I called Olympus and sent it to them. It was defective and they replaced it. If you puchased a new smart media card, there must be some sort of warranty. Try calling Olympus.
