Diana Camera multi exposure low light color blah blah blah

greenspun.com : LUSENET : People Photography : One Thread

It's not a Holga, it's better! My friend reading the paper and eating his lunch at a burrito resaturant. I kept clicking the shutter (like Mani says) until he noticed me. That's how I figure the exposure... keep firing away until the subject isn't interesting any more (he moved/changed positions)or my finger gets tired... t

I thought this was the burrito? You're a riot tom. I've been exposing all wrong!!! Now I know why my exposures suck! o boy. Felt like this myself last night...

Tom,

Check the e-bay auctions...Dianas are beginning to compete with Hassies in price, or so it would seem! Real collector items.

Your photo has one major flaw...no signs of a light leak. Perhaps twisting the back a bit or a few good wacks on a rock will solve the problem.

Ted Orland is giving a workshop in Yosemite through the Ansel Adams Gallery using Holgas (can you believe it!) and hand coloring the prints. See his web site for some good examples of hand colored Holga pics:

Tom, is the grain film or digital? ps I'll trade you one Labatt's Blue for one pack of Marlboro's. Canada can not make a good cigarette. oops. Don't smoke, kids (nay, smoke no kids, either...'cept maybe with a Vmax...or a YZF...and take their poppa's money...). Yamaha wouldn't need a pellicle mirror to get 10 fps...

The c-print's pretty smooth so it must be digital... what the heck is it (that speckly crap)? That smokey blue haze is the ubiquitous Diana fog. LaBatts' sucks worse than Marlboros and Yamaha makes a pretty good piano... t

Beer, cigi, and bike forums on the way...and I ove Yami but I'd rather have a Duke.

Are they on your scan or new?

-- shawn gibson (SeeInsideForever@yahoo.com), February 13, 2000.

In the scan and if I was gonna ride it'd be a Guzzi... t

MG's are great, extremely beautiful and well made from what I've seen (I painted one once...and used to see them at the track very occasionally); but last I checked (several years ago), they needed NOS or Byron Hines to get anywhere by Thursday (OK I'm a power freak). If I ever find a lot of money I swear I'm getting a Ducati.

I'll get a Husaberg thumper if you guys are ordering...

Don't know what sounds worse... A thumper or those damn Ducs... oh well don't hear much of them anymore behind my R1. Nothing like 4 inline pistons at 11k.
