i dont know why i just randomly thought of this, and i dont even know how many of you have heard it yet since i think it's a pretty recent addition, but lately in november bombs, chris has been doing this really pretty part in it that goes "when will you come home? i been staring at the walls... waiting for your call". anyway, kris and i mentioned that to him and he said he stole it from a band called galaxie 500 which has now morphed into luna... anyway, for some reason i just remembered this tonight and looked for a sound clip of the original, so here it is if anyone wants to hear it: http://www.cdnow.com/cgi-bin/mserver/SID=447301032/pagename=/share/ensotrack2.html/itemdescriptionid=372990/disc=2/track=05/source=RAM/ra.ram

i hope that copies... if not, just go to cdnow and search for the self-titled album galaxie 500 and click on the song "when will you come home" so you can get a preview of what you'll be hearing... it sounds better with chris doing it, but i dont have any bootlegs yet so hearing the original is cool too.

ok, thats it.

Chris has been doing that all along but I dont think anybody noticed unless of course you have the Galaxie 500 hundred box set(hand raised) and want to tell the person next to you but of course they won't know what the hell you're talking about. Kinda like when Adam sang a part of "Little Sister" at the beginning of Mr Jones in SF and you want to tell somebody "Hey thats Rockpile" but of course again, you'll ge tthe "who is that look". Ah being a music geek can be frustrating.

he did that part this whole time? no, i didnt notice until this last leg... he actually said that was their one hit, but i've never heard it before. i think chris' version is much better though, that singer sounds too much like adam sandler trying to sing.

after cc concerts i always go through cc withdrawal... but this time i really havent at all. however, i have been and still am going through a major case of joe 90 withdrawal. which sucks even more since they're playing a show 10 minutes from my house that even my mom is going to! ugh. i need to drop out of college now.

but first i should go to bed i guess.
