Have buttermilk whenever you need it for cooking.

Before the exp. date on the carton, freeze the buttermilk in 1 cup portions. Now I never have to run out to the store for buttermilk when a recipe calls for it. Or when I want homemade pancakes or cornbread. This taste better than the powdered buttermilk IMO.

Good idea Carol. I think the powdered buttermilk is not very tastey. I will do just what you said. Thank you for the suggestion. Taz
