it may be a troll, but it is accurate. Doomers do see anyone who disagrees with them as subhumans who do not deserve to be allowed to state their views.

LOL!!! It wouldn't surprise me if even GN himself got a quick chuckle out of this one. It's certainly better than the incessant diatribes and character assassination that took place last month.

I like to hear all opinions, but that place is infantile.

Paul Davis compares the people on this forum to anti-abortionists who kill. I suggest Davis is a couple of bottles short of a decent wine cellar. No, don't delete this link--let people go and have a look if they have normal blood pressure.

It's only an opinion of Paul Davis', nothing factual.

Old Git-

Pull out your reading glasses before you get everyone stirred up. Paul Davis does not "compare the people on this forum to anti- abortionists who kill."

His statement was "Some anti-abortionists are an extreme example of this behavior in that they will kill..."

The behavior here is standard, harmless, extreme behavior. Kind of like the difference between people that are anal retentive and like things real clean: The extreme form of this would be people that are obsessive-compulsive, washing their hands 80 times a day or scrubbing their skin until it bleeds and chafes (Yeccch). Sorry about the gross analogy.

CJS, I do not know your writings so I would be loath to assign meaning to any of your ambiguities. However, I am familiar with Mr. Davis's ramblings and I know he thinks the people of this forum are beyond the pale. Here's the pertinent passage, referring to what he terms TB2K's "very strange belief system."

I'm just glad few people subscribe to [this very strange belief system], in this virulent form.

The only others I have ever seen that come close to it, are rabid anti-abortion types, total bigots and censorship lovers of every stripe.

These seem to have a divider in their thinking, which requires a 'side' with pure and GOD GIVEN right, and another 'side' with no rights whatsoever.

This mindset is encouraged during wartime, by calling the enemy demeaning names and implying they are subhuman in matters of religion, diet or personal habit.

Religions of all sorts encourage this sort of thinking, by implying that the 'outsider' is either subhuman, or must be 'rescued' from his subhuman state.

Some anti-abortionists are an extreme example of this type of behaviour, in that they will kill to stop abortions. Is this in any way reasonable?

(End of cut and paste)

Note to newcomers: Paul Davis administers a bulletin board called "Gary North is a Big Fat Idiot."
