OT: What happened to the supporting evidence??

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I've seen at least one post recently making the statement that the bombing of the Murrah building in OKC was not what it seems. Am I the only one who, after reading that said, "Hey, wait a minute, that's just TOO unbelievable"?

In the absence of any refuting posts or flames, I've asked myself, "What the hell? Am I the only one who DOESN'T know what really happened there?"

Where is the evidence to support such a statement? I've seen posters on this forum get disemboweled for saying things far less inflammatory. Where is the outrage? Have we just decided to accept whatever anti-gov drivel as fact just because it might fit some preconceived notion we maintain?

I remain completely...

Maybe most of the socialist apologists have left the forum.

Jimmy, with all due respect, if you're just going to accept the lies and spin you're fed by the media and the government, then you don't really belong here. If you expect something is "too unbelievable," then it's likely because you've become so accustomed to the usual crap you get on TV that you can no longer do any thinking for yourself. The proof is all there before you. You can either believe it, or continue living in denial.

--what are you asking exactly, little confuseth here. Was okc building el kaboomed with a fertilizer bomb? Nope, no credible evidence it was. Was there a lot of evidence that the el kaboom was known about in advance by various soup orgs, well, sure seems to be. If it was this huge truck kablooie, how come the surrounding buildings didn't suffer equal damage, or even close? Don't truck kabooms sorta spread out in a circle? How come the analysis was classified, beyond saying it was fertilizer?? what happened to the ear witness reports of two explosions? Why was the seismographical evidence of two explosions ignored? What happened to the eyewitness reports of people seeing guys with plans going around onto the columns and placing what looked liked charges? what happened to the on the spot real time reports of heavy ordinance being found by rescue people? Sure, lots of strange things happened, including that ridiculous story of the escape with no license plates on the vehicle. How about that son of the german intel head, who was intimately involved with mcveigh, and who skipped the country, and ain't talking, and no requests from our orgs for extradition from germany? How about the lady agent who was crucified when she tried to speak out on what her version of events where? Lotta questions, and you ain't gonna get anything but the party line for answers, either. As soon as any person in a position of knowing tries to come forward to those guys, well, it seems that in this case and a lot of others that all of a sudden there's severe alzheimers involved, same as at waco. Got delta force doods who can't seem to recall who they were hanging out with during one of the biggest happenings in american political history, let alone any details. And these doods are alledgedly the smartest toughest guys we got. With memories like that, it's a wonder they can remember which way a clip goes in. Alzheimers, it's amazing, seems to inflict a lot of people connected with this administration, the ones that are still alive, that is.

Hal,

Maybe I should have explained myself better. The post I read here earlier (a few threads down) is the first indication I've EVER seen of the OKC bombing being anything other than what was reported in the mainstraem media. I would relish the opportunity to evaluate whatever evidence to the contrary exists. Could you suggest a publication or link to begin my research?

TIA

Jimmy

--here ya go, Jimmy, google search, 27,000 and change hits okc el kaboom links, good luck!

zog,

Holy S**t!! I musta sleepwalked through that whole thing. You present some extremely compelling facts and questions. At that time, I most certainly had a healthy distrust of .gov but not to the extent that I would have questioned what seemed to be a reasonable explanation of the event. That is a mistake I will not make again.

I appreciate your taking the time to respond. You obviously put some time into it as you do with all of your posts. Can you speculate on what the motive for such a horrible act might be and who would stand to benefit?

Thanks again, zog.

Jimmy

If you want some honest, no BS reporting and commentary, try these web sites:

Jimmy,

It has also been suggested that Colorado was another not-what-it-seems incident. I have seen photos of U.N.-painted vehicles at that location, which were supposed to have been onsite almost instantly.

Yes, photos can nowadays be easily doctored. Still, the pattern of an event occuring leading to public outrage leading to supporting more erosion of rights is one I think I have seen from this administration many times.

BTW, I have also seen assertions that not one of the widely-reported school shootings' perp.s were not -- repeat not -- on one of the widely-prescribed anti-depressants. Ahhh, better living through chemistry, again!

Anyhow, searching Sightings can probably lead you to hits on both of these topics.

---Jimmy, here are the main theories, so far:

mcveigh and nichols did it, with a fertilizer/diesel el kaboom, because of waco

rogue elements in some org did it, in order to bolster the war on alledged domestic "terrorism", that is, they needed more prestige/ money/power

mc veigh/nichols and SOMEONE ELSE planned it, the feds had word, a snitch or two, but someone screwed up, it went off when there was supposed to be a big media splash safe bust instead.

I'm leaning towards the last one, just a big snafu all around, most embarrassing, and a lot of folks hurt. If it was the first one, well, I plain don't believe it, too many unanswered questions. If it was the middle theory, gee whizz there's some nasty people out there, don't even want to think about it, it's a horrible prospect, but can't rule it out at this time yet, that leaves the last scenario, but still leaves unanswered questions, so..who knows?
