No new questions?greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread
Since 11:40 or so there have been no new postings to this forum. I know it's late, but it's a little unusual to hit refresh and see nothing new has appeared. Also not seeing many responses. Have all the visitors to TB2000 except me suddenly got a life?
This test posting should reveal whether the forum is accepting posts. Sorry for the confusion if it's my mistake.

I'm here, and have been typing away for an hour or so.

You must be confused if you think the rest of us have a life.

So why don't you post something news worthy? There's ton's of web sites on the internet to get news and information to post here. I don't read every post here, I'd be here all day.

Been a little tough getting on the net tonight. Took about two hours to get past the busy signals on AOL. Not sure about the other ISP's.

Me too, Shakey. Surprised I could get here. And it was slower here earlier today than I have experienced before.

I'm also having trouble on the net, when I can actually get on! All of a sudden, it's taking 2 to 5 tries to even make a connection. Generally, one shot and I'm stylin'.
When on, though, VERY slow page loading and file downloads, even though my connection is at least 31,200.
Are there actually people out there who have a life? Gosh, I've never met any.
