The Federal deficit last year was over $100 Billion. There is not surplus. The chance the national debt will be reduced or eliminated by 2012 is about as great as Hulk Hogan winning the Miss America contest. The dollar is king. Gold has no lasting value. All the aircraft crashes, refinery explosions, broken water pipes and pipelines are just accidents with no Y2k connection. Do you get the idea? Is there an investigative journalist still working for a major newspaper or TV network? You could probably count them on one finger. The Dow will go to 36000 (3600 is more probable) The economy is good (right negative savings as people can not keep up) Some people reading or hearing this stuff may not even recognize it for the propaganda that it is. This makes Hitler look like an amateur.

Should this be 5 threads, one for each major network so that the thread does not become so long that it is not manageable? Do we include the failures to report major news stories such as drops in oil imports, refinery production, etc?
