Plane makes emergency landing in NZ

A passenger jet carrying more than 300 people from Sydney to Argentina has made an emergency landing in New Zealand.

An engine failed on the Aerolineas Argentinas plane, which then headed for Auckland, where the airport was put on full alert.

The jet landed safely after dumping its fuel as a safety precaution.
