This film scanner is now available for sale in Hong Kong and its price is very attractive(around USD390.00). It is a 36 bit negative and slide scanner with an optical resolution of 2700 x 2700 dpi.

I know this product is available in the US market for at about one year and I really would like to see that a test report will be available soon.

I bought one a couple of months ago, after a lot of hard looking at the competition. IMHO you'd have to spend twice the money on a Nikon or Canon to get the same quality.

There are a few postings further down the list about the Acer, but nobody has yet seen anything like a review of it.
