the overblown rhetoric of politicians and bureaucrats. on thinking a bit and seeing the impossibilities of their ambiguity their mouths shoot off at unknown directions, it sorta makes me wonder. that is funny in a tragic sort of way. these dudes are supposed to be our leaders.

wearing suits and reading from podiums. Preparing must be a hoot for them...politicians and news people must think "god! what the hell am i doing here shuffling paper around, putting on this suit and tie just so i can shout some rehtoric out to a bunch of camer operators?" secretly wishing they could just get back in flannel pj's..eat a big breakfast..read a best seller..sit in a large comfy chair and drink beer at noon.... All I can think of is "kids in the hall"............

People getting shocked at the idea that Northwest Airlines subpoenaed employees' home computers to get evidence that they had been distributing anti-NW literature. If these people had been typing the information up on typewriters and mailing it out, the paper copies would be no more subpoenable; why is it coming as a surprise to these people that this information is evidence?
