Game Guru: STOP CHEATING!!!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MAME Action Replay : One Thread

A Hyper Sports recording submitted by Game Guru on 03-Feb-2000 14:36:12... description reads: "non cheating, played on keyboard :-) I'm off down the local computer shop now to buy a new one!! LOL..."

Are you trying to see what you can get away with? Are you hoping that not holding the Shift key down constantly, but releasing it every now and then makes RLH undetectable? Wrong. You used RLH. Again. Still.

Cheers, Ben Jos.

I just can't believe u deleted my hypersports score to 0 ... I swear on my life that I used the keyboard, if u watch the recording u can see this??

I never once used RLH, as u can c I only just qualified in most of the events, just look at the swimming, long horse etc....

Anyone can see that was all done with the keyboard with no RLH, sorry BenJos but I think u better get your facts right and get someone else to look at that recording, most of the time u r right, but this time u really have got it wrong and I think u owe me an apology....

I wanted to spend the day uploading the Track'nField clones, whats the point if u keep deleting them??...

PLEASE, watch the recording and then tell me I used RLH, you will c i'm telling the truth.......

Game Guru,

If anyone owes the other an apology, then it's you owing me one. STOP LYING. The RLH key itself is RECORDED IN THE .INP. I don't even have to watch a recording to know if it's used or not. And maybe you can't tell from watching the playback. Like I said, you didn't hold the Shift key down constantly, but released it every now and then. Clever. But every time it is pressed a special bit in the .inp is set to zero. Do you want me to tell you, with microsecond precision, exactly where you used it?

Cheers, Ben Jos.

Two more things:

(1) Sure. I believe that you used the keyboard. After all, the RLH key is on the keyboard too...

(2) The two T&F clone recordings you submitted that same day were clean.

Cheers, Ben Jos.
