First to post, again! Yes! Anyway, eyes and lips.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

My eyes.

And my hair, but only on the days that i go to a hairdresser for a trim and she dries it all nice. The rest of the time, it's probably not a best feature.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

I would have to say my legs. It used to be my abs - and I've since quit exercizing, so that's flabby - so it's my legs.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

I like my eyes...they're the color of chocolate M&Ms. Everyone tells me to get colored contacts, but I like the color of my eyes, almost exactly the color of my hair:)

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

I have awesome feet. I'm overweight, but they are petite and adorable. Size 6 1/2. I'm not sure everyone else loves my feet as much as I do, but that's okay. I like to give them accessories, nice pedicures and snazzy, open-toed shoes -- just to say thanks for being such damn sexy feet.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

My red (OK, reddish, when I'm in the sun) hair. And my high metabolism.

Do people actually go around and tell other people to change their *eye color*? Seems so tacky. Speaking as a guy, I almost never notice eye color. But really dark eyes can be very striking. I like my baby blues though.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

That would have to be my legs. I was a soccer player in high school, and middle school, and grade school, well... for a while. And they are strong and well muscled and a little bowed from dribbling the ball. It's been a couple of years, but they're still pretty impressive in a pair of soccer shorts...

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

Well, my legs are too skinny for the rest of me, but I suppose that if my butt were a size four and my legs stayed the way they are now, they'd be all right. My natural hair color is pretty, but I haven't really seen it since 1992. I have four inches or so of it now, but that doesn't really count because of the other half of my head that's still growing out bad highlights. I have pretty eyes, but I wear glasses all the time so who'd know?

In other words, I am unable to participate in this forum because I'm basically skanky and horrific, so I'm going to go away now.

Words cannot express how disappointed I am to realize that the best feature I can think of on my whole body is my ears.

My EARS. (sigh)

There is nothing else about me that is visually stunning. Actually, stunning would be a bit of stretch as a description for my ears. My listening flaps are pretty small, but not too small, and they lay nicely against the side of my head. My hair looks best when tucked behind my ears. My lobes are curvy, and so far, not hairy.

That's it. That's the best I could come up with. I'm really depressed now, thanks a lot, Pamie. I mean, I'm really happy to hear about your tiny pores and all, but I didn't really need to break down my looks and realize that my hair is too limp to be enviable, my nose is slightly larger than cute, my eyes are okay, but won't be seducing anyone anytime soon, my cheeks are round like a kid, my skin is tempermental like a teenager, my smile is nothing to write home about, my boobs are too big, my waist isn't wasp-like, no one could bounce a quarter off of my ass, my thighs don't resemble anything that I care to claim, and my feet are Size 8, which is the average size, but on a 5'4" girl? Come on! I'm a freak! I'm a fucking freak!

Somebody pass me a hair scrunchie. I need to show off my ears and gain a little self esteem, before I throw myself off a bridge. Or even better, I should say that I have a vagina so beautiful that I had to get an unlisted number because Hugh Hefner and Larry Flynt were calling me all the time to beg for a photo shoot. You all would have to just take my word on it, and I have GOT to claim something more exciting than my ears, because that's just sad.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

Well, I USED to have Pamie-like skin, but then I got older and, obviously, the gods have decided that if you didn't have zits when you were a teenager, you deserve them NOW, when you're forty, at the same time you are starting to notice lines and wrinkles because you grew up in the tropics and no matter how hard you tried not to get sunburned, it was the 70's and everyone went out in the sun and now you're paying for it.....anyway, skin's not my best feature any more. I guess it's my hair, since it's long and soft and a reddish- blondish color that people compliment me on.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

I like my eyes and my lips, too. I buy lots of lipstick but rarely remember to wear it. I'm also fond of my left ankle and right bicep -- because they have tattoos.

My eyes, which change colors from greyish-blue to greyish-green depending on my moods. My hair is very long and dark, and people always comment on it. That's it, really. Hair and eyes. Don't look at me below the neck.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

I like my eye color (green!), but not my actual eyes. They're too small, and too close together, and now I'm getting little wrinkles from the sun.

And on one ankle I have three tiny freckles that form a natural triangle, and I think that's pretty cool.

Other than that, I have a lot (I mean A LOT) of hair on my arms (and hands and toes), which I don't happen to like but for someone who's into it that would be a good thing. (Before it sounds too grim, the hair is fine and blond, so I don't really need to shave).

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

Best feature ??? Depends on who you ask. I really like my collarbones and the are right around them. A large bird couldn't perch on them, like, say they could on Fiona Apple's. With a LOT of work, I too, have good skin, but this is the one area that always looks good. It's touchable, to the point that people I am attracted to zone in on that and (yes) play down my breasts. My breasts aren't bad, pretty firm for being kinda big, but they're just too OBVIOUS, ya know? I like lovers that pay attention to me.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

I wish I had skin like yours, Pamie. I haven't had good skin since before puberty and it seriously bums me out.

However, I have inherited a lot of good features, so I shouldn't complain. I honestly can't pick just one.

My big brown eyes, with the tiniest touch of green. I wear glasses, so most people can't see them in all their glory, but I've had men exclaim over them and a friend told me once that I could get away with murder thanks to my eyes. (Of course, she has gorgeous doe-like brown eyes.

My little nose. It's relatively small, but not too small, and very straight. Thanks, Mom! And my full lips. And my thick hair over which hairdressers have swooned. (I'm letting my natural dark color grow out now.) I've got nice ears and great calves. I used to have a great jaw that could cut glass, but I've gained a bit of weight, so that's gone.

What can I say? I'm just gorgeous beyond belief, except for my bad skin and not so pretty teeth and lady mustache and chin hairs and moles and stretch marks and big feet and hairy arms and legs (when they're not shaved) and the extra weight and...

I'm hideous! *runs away crying*

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

Hey, pamie -- thanks for this topic! This is a great exercise for me, because I have my 20-year high school reunion coming up (OK so now I've busted myself as far as my age goes!), and I'm starting to freak out because I'm a lot heavier now than I was then, and I have this paranoia about people whispering behind my back, "Wow, didn't SHE become a cow?" I don't know why I'm so freaked, because I didn't care what those people thought BEFORE, so why should I care now? Weird. I've always had a healthier-than-normal body image, but still not that great. So I need to brag a little on myself to feel better right now!

So, OK, I'll play. I, too, have great skin. The hubby and I went out a few weeks ago to buy a dishwasher, and the saleslady kept telling me how much I reminded her of her daughter (I figured it must be my smart mouth), then after much conversation (very little about actual dishwashers), she finally asked me how old I am. I told her, and she said, "Oh my gosh, I thought you were 25!" That felt great. I've also been carded THREE times recently for CIGARETTES. You know, where you have to LOOK at least 27 or they card you? Sweet. And the skin on my body is nice and smooth and soft too. I credit genetics for this, of course, but I also have to give props to SUNSCREEN -- since I was in my late teens I realized that I would never have a tan, so I've always been very scrupulous about the SPF 30, and wear at least 15 on my face every day. (You all do know that sun is what causes wrinkles, right? Slather that stuff on, guys and gals, and maybe when YOU'RE 37, you too can pass for twentysomething!)

Weird that someone else mentioned feet, because I think mine look pretty nifty too -- even though they're a size 9, I have a really instep/arch, so they don't look huge when they're naked. I also gave up wearing heels in high school, so they still look pretty damn good - - none of that old-lady corn or bunion shit for me.

My eyes are also a striking shade of blue, to the point where people always come up to me -- total strangers even! -- and ask me if I'm wearing colored contacts. I think this is rude -- so would Ann Landers -- but I always offer to pop my contacts out to prove it to them. That usually shuts them up! Then they hem and haw and tell me they only asked because they are soooo unbelieeeevably beauuutifullll! (Make 'em feel like shit then they butter you up!)

And, as heavy as I am, I still have an hourglass figure. Things may be chunky, but they're in proportion. And my ample boobies may be headed south, but they still look pretty damn good too.

Wow, I sound like a one-woman brag-fest here. But I do feel quite a bit better after pondering this question. Thanks again pamie!

Well, before I got pregnant and became just too damn tired to hit the gym on a regular basis, I was proudest of my strength.

Sure, I was 5'2" and I wore a size 14 or 16, with about 35% body fat, but by golly was I strong. I could bench-press 90 lbs for 2 sets of 20 reps, leg-press 250 lbs (again 2x20), walk marathons and half- marathons. My skinny friends might have sleek tummies to show off at the beach, but when they had to move apartments, I was in my glory as I helped load the moving truck.

...and then I got pregnant. And my husband implored me to quit lifting stuff. I didn't listen. I lugged big suitcases around airports and helped my brother's friend's band carry big amplifiers up flights of stairs... and then I started finding blood in my underwear and got scared and quit showing off. (Good news is the baby was fine, but still it was scary.) And then the morning sickness and the exhaustion hit and I was just too sick & tired to go to the gym.

So now I'm a pregnant weakling but I don't mind because soon after the baby's born I'll be back at the gym, and I'll be wonder-woman again. In the meantime, I'm proudest of the baby doing high-kicks inside. She's pretty darn strong too!

I like my face. I have a great exotic looking face. I got it from my mom's dad who is Indian. So I have clear olive skin, big, dark brown almost black eyes, good cheekbones, heartshaped lips and perfect teeth (thanks to two years of braces).

I was going to list the million things I hate here, but I will just shut up and let my face bask in the compliments.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

This is a toughie. Because if I sit down and take stock *today*, then I'm not going to get very far. I guess I'll have to tally up what I've liked over the last month or so.

My hair. It's faded at the moment because I went out in the sun too much this summer, but it's usually a darker reddish color, and thick and shiny. My eyes would be nice (they're large and brown/hazel) but right now I'm letting my brows grow out so that I can get them professionally shaped, so the overall effect is kind of lost. I like my hands, but I bite my nails so nobody else really likes my hands. I like my feet, too, but I'm 5'1" and wear a size 9 1/2, so again, people don't usually agree with me on that one. I like 'em though- nicely arched, narrow, and perfect toenails for painting little flowers on.

So I guess I'll just concede with what I've been hearing from other people all along. "Sexy" isn't a Brianna-adjective. "Cute" is, on good days.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

Lisa E., don't worry about your feet being big. Size 8? I haven't seen size 8 feet since I was 11! I'm 5'5" and wear size 10 shoes. Yep, you read that right. Size 10. I've got boats for feet.

Thankfully I also have kind of thick ankles, so my feet don't look as big as they are. And it's all proportional with my somewhat thick, but curvy calves.

Like ChickenGrrl, I've gained some weight since I was a teen (quite a bit, actually), but it's all settled in a very nice hourglass figure. And I love my breasts. I really do. They're big and maybe a little floppy, but they look great in tank tops and various low cut clothing, as well as turtlenecks.

I've been pretty blessed. Except for the whole bad skin thing.

I've been focusing more on my workout lately, so I'm in the best physical condition of my life. Unfortunately, I'm 5'6", and I've still got my big old head, so no matter how much I workout, I'll never look much different than this:

I have a killer nape. 'tis the nape that shames all other napes. I'm confident nape models will soon be in demand, and my dream is to earn recognition as the favorite nape double of all the stars, because you know, celebs are so sensitive about flashing their napes on film.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

Well, I have three favourite features. I hope y'all don't think I'm conceited.
So anyway, my hands are probably my absolute favourite. They are pale, delicate and apparently are constantly articulated into elegant poses. I had no idea of this until people started commenting on it. Mind you, I used to be a hand model for artists, and you have no idea how old a "joke" can get until you've heard some moron say "So, you do hand jobs? Ha ha!" about fifty times in one day.
My second favourite is my hair. It's Nicole Kidman-red (which is why it's dyed black at the moment- I'm such a dork), shiny and wavy.
My third is my mouth. It's a twenties-style Cupid's bow shape, and red without lipstick.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

My favorite part of me is my eyes because they change color, depending on my moods. My SO's favorite part of me is my butt.

(Psst, I'm the one with good taste!)

Ok, so maybe this is a kind of un-p.c. response to this question, seeing how almost everyone is saying things like eye color, hair color, etc.; but I've been blessed with lovely breasts. Not too small, not too large, ideal shape, both the same size, aesthitically pleasing all around. I like to wrap them in pretty girly things from Vicky's Secret.

But then again, I'm of the opinion that MOST breasts are just lovely. Friendly little things, aren't they? Never mean anyone any harm...

And if I had taken the cowards way out and not told the truth, I would have said I like my dimples. On my cheeks, that is...

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

I keep getting told I have amazing skin. Personally I don't get it. Yes it's pale -- but that means when I blush you know about it ... for a long time. Ditto when i get angry -- apparently my face goes red in a special manner -- so much so boyfriends learn to watch and run at the signs. Plus any spots I do get are even more easily visible.

Besides that I like my eyes - they're an unusual bluey-grey - and they change colour depending on my mood - of course that means they clash with angry red face... ooops! not the I'm so sexy question. See how they overlap though?

C.

My hands and my hair. I'm blessed with long fingernails that never break. They help a lot because I have short fingers. I get the "Are your nails fake?" all the time. UGH! I grew up fighting my hair. It was short, I wanted it long. It was curly, I wanted it straight. When I hit 18 I finally gave into it and let it do it's own thing. Now I have Julia Roberts ala Pretty Woman hair except it's the deepest shade of black. I've had weird-o people touch my hair in the line at the grocery store. Creepy.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

I have great, expressive eyes when they're not all irritated and red from allergies or contact lens problems...

I've been told that I have very soft skin -- in fact a teacher once told me after she traveled in Asia that in Thailand (and in some of the naughtier areas) there are girls who "have skin like Omar." I took it as a kind of backhanded compliment, even though she said it in front of the whole class.

And hands -- I have great, nimble hands from years of typing. They massage like nobody's business...

Cycling around Austin for the past fifteen years has provided me with a nice ass and legs. If I could only bring myself to shave them I could stand out on the corner of 6th and Congress and give Leslie a run for his money. My eyes are deep-set and brown covered by thick eyebrows that connect at the bridge of my nose. Because of this I was called Bert (from Sesame Street) in junior high. To hell with 'em, I like them and always have.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

My penis is truly beautiful. It's totally unfair I have to keep it covered in public.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

I have nice hands. The rest of me may be a klutzy mess, but my hands are elegant, darnit! :) Also, I've always been told I have nice eyes - they're green/gray/blue and fairly expressive.

My hairstylist says I have nice curly hair, but I always wanted long straight shiny hair like those girlies in the Pantene commercials. :)

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

I'm rather fond of them, mostly because they make some of my favorite things (like reading and movies) possible. Other people also seem to like them, strangers compliment me on the street (and I live in NY). People are often convinced I'm wearing make-up, which I rarely do. It's weird, but I notice it, too, especially in pictures. It looks like I have on shimmery brown eye shadow out to the corners and highlights around my brow bone. I've got it cool like that. My ex-boyfriend used to call them my "Chinese eyes." That's odd, since the one thing I'm not is Asian.

Of course, I think my brain's the sexiest part of all...

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

my arms. when i was playing softball competively, i worked out with the football team at my high school, and i have retained some level of buffness. i wear tank tops a lot because i like how muscled my arms are, where the rest of my body is skinny as a rail. in a tank top and jeans, working in the theater, i look tough as nails, and sexy, too.

it's a good thing, too. cause i've got about zero self esteem about anything else.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

I've gotten the most compliments on my ass. From females and males alike. I also have incredibly interesting eyes, they're two different colors. One's blue, and one's brown.

In contrast, I have the most horrible skin, dry/oily/flaky mess... ick. I'm 25, and still have zits, icky.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

My eyes are a clear blue with long dark lashes and a very good shape (if I do say so myself). I can also use my eyes very well - raising eyebrows or narrowing them or winking. I get this all the time: "You have beautiful/amazing/great/gorgeous/stunning eyes." This was especially bad when I did Renaissance Faire, as it's everyone's favorite come-on, "Milady, thou hast the most beautiful set of..." sweeping gaze over top of bursting bodice, "...eyes mine own hast ever seen!" My boyfriend at the time managed to overhear me bitch about this before he had a chance to fall into the same trap, and would often catch himself: "Have I ever told you you have a beautiful pair of...nostrils?" he's smirk at me. He was nice and funny that way.

I'm not as sensitive out here in the "real world", as I don't hear it everyday. Still, it's usually #1 on the list of compliments.

#2 would have to be my hair. I have waist-length, shiny auburn hair that has the gentlest wave to it. It's very silky and soft to the touch, and, predictably, guys go wild for it. I'm pretty vain about these two features, I have to admit, and I go to great lengths to protect them (pun (for hair) intended, har har).

I also have really soft skin and nice perky and rounded breasts, but I only hear that from my more intimate friends who have occasion to touch these parts.

What a fun forum topic! It's nice to hear such nice things about everybody!

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

my eyebrows. i only pluck about three hairs whenever i do, just so i can relate to other people.

.. and my skinny fingers. oh! and definitely the mole about 2 inches from my belly button.

....i met a girl today that didn't even have a belly button...

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

Didn't James Joyce ask if Adam and Eve had belly buttons?

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

God, I love early Salt N Pepa references.

Anyway, my eyes and their lovely, thick, long lashes. And my perfect teeth. I think I'd rather have a mouth full of perfect teeth than a flat stomach. Cos rotten teeth are rotten teeth, and they'd make ME sick...

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

Hail Accutane! Hail the Colonel's Chapstick-Greasy, flaky, bloody, Fried Chicken Lips! If you do not know what I'm talking about, then you are not one of the privelegded few...

I have nice, um...No! I've got it! I have nice, broad shoulders! And my liver is the most sexiest thing...of course, hardly anybody's seen it...but people say it's not what makes the outside of a person sexy, but their insides...right?

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

I like my feet, they are awesomelly cute. They have some hair on them, but other than that, they are very cute. I love my arms. They aren't really buff, but they're not flabby, to bad its too cold to wear tank tops. I like my smile, its nice and lopsided. I like most things about myself, so I'll shut up now.

-- Anonymous, February 02, 2000

although my penis and i are old friends of many years i don't think it is or ever was. i believe my best feature is my smile. when i smile people smile back and sometimes go on to tell me what a bad mood they are in. my other good feature is my brain, the companion from the age of knowing there was something inside my skull. it has given me untold pleasure as well as guiding me in the world of civilization. yep, i ain't purty but i do like roses.

-- Anonymous, February 03, 2000

I adore my hair. I really do. And I like my hands. I have long fingers. And I like my skin. And you know I've always held a special place in my heart for that space just before my ass, but just after my sack. I don't know what it's called, but I LOVE IT. And we like my back. I'm going to go stand in front of the mirror

-- Anonymous, February 03, 2000

i like my eyes - bluey/grey that appear greenish after crying. but my best feature would have to be my earthy sense of humor. it really makes up for the rest of me which is falling apart rapidly.

-- Anonymous, February 03, 2000

First Post!!!!!

It's always nice to think nice thoughts about yourself, I love my hair, I keep it quite short but it is in amazing condition and always shiny. This makes my dull mousey hair quite exciting. Although I get most compliments about my eyes which are a navy blue with a hazel edging to them.

Unfortunately that's about it, the rest needs a bit of work.

-- Anonymous, February 03, 2000

Cool topic. Enough to entice me out of the woodwork. Of course most of the things I was going to say have already been said. And I couldn't just limit it to one thing, which is actually pretty good since I'm usually down on myself about my appearance, mainly because I'm so damn overweight.

1. My eyes - I don't know if it's the color the shape or what. But they are cool. 2. My hour glass figure. It carries weight so well that the Drivers License place didn't even question it when I dropped 80 (yes 80) lbs from my weight on my license. I put my "Wish I was this weight" rather than my actual weight. 3. I have a great mole on my right cheek about an inch away from my nose. 4. That ever so cute freckle in my belly button. 5. And finally - my wrists. At times when I really start getting down on myself I can always admire my wrists. Just don't ask me to explain what the attraction is - I haven't figured it out yet.

Oh, Rhonda! Your post just about made me cry... I thought I had written it! Well, not quite. I didn't get pregnant; I got out of my car onto the ONE SPOT of ***** BLACK ICE in a whole parking lot in the last week of March two years ago, ripped my anterior cruciate and since then have just gotten flabbier and flabbier. So take comfort. You can have the baby and go back to the gym; I just got a brace, and we're working things out.

I do like some things about myself, though not the fat-assed, blubbery, broken things. My hair. Damn I have good hair. It's thick, it's fine, it's got just enough wave that it will cooperatively do whatever I want, from basic shampoo-&-comb to full-out Glam Girl, and it stays shiny and healthy even if, as is my wont, I turn it a new colour every month and twice at Christmas. And it grows about an inch a day. (That's what it felt like the one time I went platinum, anyway.)

My eyes. They're a bit on the protuberant side (that Pisces thing, I'm told) but they're a lovely blue, and in certain lights they turn an incredible colour that can draw comments from total strangers. And my eyelashes bump into my glasses. Hah.

My mouth. I hate my teeth, but my lips are a pretty Victorian-choc-box-girl shape, and I like my smile. And I do have good skin, except for the one single pimple on my chin that appears exactly nine days before my period. When that happens, I usually start thinking my good skin is not such an asset. Nothing like a single pimple standing out like a neon sign in a sea of peaches and cream.

Okay, that's not so bad. Four good features in a bodyfull of short, plump and boring.

-- Anonymous, February 03, 2000

I like my eyes. They are a very bright, royal blue. A three-year-old friend of mine (cute little guy) once told me at the dinner table that my eyes were his favorite colour of blue. A charmer at three -- I sure had a good grin over that one. :)

-- Anonymous, February 03, 2000

Ow, Katharine. I hope you don't have to wear the brace for long. I'm sorry to hear that.

I thought of more stuff I like about myself so I'm going to throw them in now:

I'm the most limber person in my karate class. Always have been. When we have to stretch out at the beginning of class I just fall into splits, lower and easier than anyone else in the class. (We'll see whether that's still true once the baby's born--I haven't practiced in months).

I have nice thick hair, which is also a problem because if I go too long without a haircut (which I almost always do) then it gets all floppy and flat and I have to put styling products all over it. But it looks very nice after I've gotten it cut and thinned and doesn't need mousse or anything.

Oh, and I have lovely straight teeth, never needed braces. Even my wisdom teeth are straight. And I didn't even get a cavity until I was 22--the cavity was in one of the wisdom teeth, in fact, and was so small the dentist filled it without even needing anesthesia. (That was sad, because suddenly my teeth weren't perfect anymore.) I got another cavity when I was 29 or so, and that didn't need anesthesia either, it was so small. In fact, the dentist still puts sealants on my teeth to protect their awesomeness. Alas, insurance refuses to pay for it because they assume that everyone over the age of 14 has so many holes in their teeth that it's pointless to seal them, but I don't mind the out-of-pocket splurge. That's how much I love my teeth.

My skin's nice and clear, which is fortunate, but my pores aren't tiny like Pamie's so I'm humble about it. But I have freckles all over my shoulders & back, and I think they look nice.

What a nice forum. Thanks Pamie!

Gotta be the thumbs. I have awesome thumbs. My wife and my therapy patients will be the first to tell you that I have thumbs of steel. Haven't found a shoulder or a back that can withstand the pressure of a well placed thumb.

I may not be able to shower my wife with gold and silver, but I'll be damned if she ever has to go to bed with a stiff neck.

-- Anonymous, February 03, 2000

Thanks for the great topic. I'd have to say it's my eyes--they are blue or green depending on what color shirt I am wearing that day. And my calves. These are the two things that my honey loves about my body. And, by the way, Leigh Anne, ChickenGrrl, Brianna, and Kandarpa (if you are a female)...thanks for your sharing about your feet...gonna share pictures of them with us? HA HA....!

my eyelashes. all my life, i've been told that i have stunning eyelashes. women want them. men envy them. i'm older now, and in no ways handsome, but occasionally a woman acquaintance will see me from a certain angle and stop in her tracks and say - what eyelashes!

My hair. It's naturally strawberry blonde and curly. It always shocks me when people compliment it. But I love it.

And, after trying on my formal dress tonight, I realized that I have darn nice cleavage too.

As a late thirties male I have great facial skin , smooth and soft as a babys bottom, I ask, where was this when I was young? I also have great lips full but not huge and warm (pobably due to high blood pressure) the few women I have kissed lately have all said my kisses are like warm chocolate, soft and sweet. To bad I'm overweight, wear glaasses, and bite my nails.

First off, thank-you for this forum! I was feeling a bit low about myself and while I was reading everyone elses contributions I began to sub-conciously pick out the things about myself that I like Here goes:

After years and years of hating them, I think the thing I like best about myself is my freckles. I have them just across my cheeks and my nose. Not to many...not to few. In the summer time they stand out more, and I find them charming, and have been told how *cute* they were. And for someone who feels awkward most of the time, having something called *cute* on you is very nice to heard :o)

Secondly, I like my eyes. They are steel-blue. They do change to a light hazel color with the weather and my moods. They are very reflective eyes, though. Deep, if you will. You can read everything about me just by looking into my eyes.

I have nice dimples and a nice chin cleft (thank you daddy).

I have slender strong arms with nice wrists as well that taper into large confident mommy hands.

I have a nice figure, even if it has a few pounds to many on it. No one ever believes me when I tell them I weigh as much as I do.

I like my breasts as well. Stretch marks and all. I had virutally no breasts until I had my babies, and I finally got some..and I like 'em. They aren't round and perky. But they are soft, full and maternal. They are nice.

I like my hips. Again, I had none before I had my babies. Now I have nice full curvy hips. I have actually been complimented on the curve of my hips when I lay on my side.

And finally, I am beginning to like my personality. I am growing everyday into the mature sensitive, thoughtful, intelligent, confident nurturing woman I have always admired. I have wit and intelligence. I have humour and a great laugh. I have a full smile with slightly crooked teeth that add to the charm that is uniquely me. I have life, love and happiness.

Thanks again. I feel 110% better :o)

I keep getting compliments on my eyes and I honestly don't know what the big fuss is about. They're blue, green, or grayish silver depending on what I wear. The silver's the coolest of all, and seems to generate the most compliments, but I don't wear a lot of silver clothing so I'm usually stuck somewhere between blue and gray. I've noticed recently that my eyelashes have been growing. I find this interesting and have been using a lot more mascara as a result.

Hmmm... I was complimented on my arse last night, and I don't understand that much, either, but okay. Doesn't it bother you to find out that someone has been staring at your bum while you're turned around? It does me.

I hate the tops of my arms. My biceps or whatever. I don't know exactly what they're called, but they have grandma flab. Keep in mind that I am 100 pounds. I should not have grandma flab. Nevertheless, I have it and it bothers me. Therefore, I try to keep arm movement down to a bare minimum when the tops of my arms are... well, bare.

My feet are kinda cute. Keep in mind I'm going on compliments I've received from other people and I don't just go and study these particular parts of my body.

Hmmm... I hate my teeth. They're not crooked, but they are off-white (heritage - my dad's teeth are nearly yellow and he brushes them all the time) and no whitening job has worked thus far.

i like all my body parts as individuals, but seen all together you miss the beauty of the individual parts. but any ways... i love my hair, because i can cut it and perm it and color it and it will always grow back, i can't get rid of it. and every time i change my hair color my eyes brighten. i am lucky to have very pale blue eyes, actually the color of the sky. i just dyed my hair (and eyebrows)dark brown and now my eyes pop out of my head, it looks kinda freaky, 'cause i am extremely pale. i also love the fact that i can see my nose grow, just like my mom. everone's nose continues to grow thru life, i can actually see it. big noses are sexy, and one day i will have one.

This is a tough one to answer. I've been complimented on my eyes (they're hazel but said to change colors), my goatee, my hair (when it's long, it has natural curls), my broad shoulders and my soft & nimble hands.

Oh yeah, and my dimples (in my cheeks & chin). Never could figure that one out.

Hmm. I like my eyes best. No one else notices them, because they're kind of dark, so people just assume they are brown (and not the nice, cozy warm chocolate-y brown either -- of which I'm actually a big fan). But really they are a rich olive-y green, with a perfect ring of brown around the pupil that is the color of Crayola's old colour "burnt sienna". I get a big kick out of my wacky ringed eyes, but it's just not a thing most people notice.

Also, I really like my broad, straight shoulders. They are some of the straightest shoulders I've ever seen, and they make me feel strong.

I'm a big fan of wrists in general. I like mine basically because of that, which is often enough to make them win my favour, but they also are strangely delicate looking -- which intrigues me to no end because I have kind of solid looking bones. No, I don't mean big. I mean they just don't look delicate.

My fingers look long in photos, but I don't think they carry that off in real life. At any rate, I ruin the possible effect by gnawing the skin around my fingernails half to death. Mmm, attractive.

My calves seem to always look pretty nice, even when I've gained a little weight, so they are my friends.

Mostly other people seem to like my smile (prolly because it always squinches up the corner of my eyes like smiles do when you're really smiling) and my eyebrows, which seem to have a decent shape but are mostly praised for being uncontrollably expressive.

What I don't like is my butt, and that spot between my chin and my neck that gets bloated looking when I've been drinking too much and eating crap for a week -- insta-double-chin look. I hate that. And if I leave the house without concealer under my eyes, I look like I haven't slept for a week.

As a girl, I of course must mention these things.

I think I'm pretty lucky to be solidly above average. Not stunning, not gorgeous, but, all in all, my parts look okay together.

I don't have tiny pores either, but, until recently, I had great skin. Lately, with the Depressed Stressed Girl Diet, my emotions and bad nutritional choices are wreaking havoc. My skin also runs toward dry, so topical stuff is bad (flakes!). Alas, I am also so fair that they don't make makeup as pale as I am. Everything turns orange on me and you can see pale blue vein lines on the thinner skin areas like on my arms, breasts, etc. But if I were to eat better and have less crap to deal with, maybe took a doxycycline once in a while, I'd clear up again. The imperfections are something a little powder and concealer can hide, but *I* know and *I* hate it.

My arms and hands, from the elbows down, are quite nice. My nails grow, my fingers are long (strangers ask if I'm an artist or if I play piano and, as it happens, I am and sometimes do). There are one or two interesting little scars on them. I like rings. My wrists are so tiny (~ 5 inches around) that I can remove bracelets without unclasping them.

My ankles are smallish, too, but my feet are average: wide, flat- arched size 8's. Then again, I'm 5'9", if I had smaller feet, I'd probably fall over. I'm no paragon of grace as it is.

I liked my breasts fine (and still do) but my gynocologist pointed out to me that one is slightly bigger. Now I notice that. Thanks a lot. They used to be tiny (then again, *I* used to be tiny): 32 AA. My 'friends' tormented me by callign them mosquito bites. Then I went from a size 8 and 32 AA to a 3/4 (I was depressed), then to a size 14 and 38C (I was depressed and on medication that disagreed with me, obviously), and now I'm size 8 again, but I have 'normal' bosoms for my size and height. I still get surprised by this.

There's a very distinct heart-shaped spot over my tush that I like. Lots of folks have one, but mine is a perfect heart. Should I ever get a tattoo, it would go there. Since I don't much care for my tush itself, it's unlikely that I'll call attention to it like that. But the heart-shaped thing is neat.

I have an innie bellybutton. I like it. The fact that it lives on my belly is not its fault. My belly isn't awful, but it's pretty obvious that I don't like sit-ups and that my metabolism is no longer as quick as it used to be.

My nose never made me cry as a teenager, so I suppose it's okay. Surely I would have obsessed over it then if it wasn't. My nostrils are even, that's all I ask for in this world from my nose at this point.

My hair is natural ashy blonde and I endured pixie cut hair traumas as a child and bad haircuts as an adult, so I let it grow and refuse to color it. Well, once a year I break down and have someone match the top to the (sun-bleached) ends, but I feel I'm cheating when I do that. But there's no brown roots when it grows out. (I am probably wasting my money, aren't I?)

My eyes, too, change color. I help them with blue and green contact lenses because they change from blue-grey to grey to green-grey and grey is okay and all, but no one writes sonnets to their true love with grey eyes, right? They turn down but the lashes are dark. In fact, my eyebrows and eyelashes grown in very dark. It wouldn't kill me to bleach my eyebrows occasionally.

My ears made me cry constantly (see aforementioned pixie cut trauma: I was white blonde and fine-haired and had big flappy pink ears and my hair grows so slowly that I only get it cut about every 8 months or so...I felt ugly for about two whole years, cried a lot, got asked if I were a boy and looked like Elmer Fudd only balder). Since I hide them under hair now, they don't bother me as much and no one taunts me any more about them. Maybe I grew into them.

My legs get me where I'm going and must be okay because I used to leg model. Got lots of free panty-hose. That was cool.

All in all, no one feature is vanity-worthy, but I'm not unhappy with my overall appearance. I'm told I'm okay-looking / pretty, and that works for me.

Believing it is the hard part, anyway.

I'm with kimme on this one- my boobs are my best feature. Sure, the more accurate term would be pec's, but then I sound like I wax or something. I hardly have to work out and they just pop up, and I can make them bounce, too. Of course, having only worked out on a soloflex for a while it's not exactly symmetrical (that floating lever arm business is bullshit), but my chest was still one of the first things my girlfriend noticed about me. That and the dimples.
