>>Also take a look at a posting by Don McAlvany. It's 35 pages long but after reading it you might want to buy some more toilet paper and water filters. It's not over by a long shot!

Was already posted. The guy is a full-fledged doomer. I am sure the doomers love him. I think he is a lunatic who will not let go of predictions of disaster. And, you know what, Even a blind man hits the bullseye with a dart eventually, so I guess we can debunk him until such time that he may actually be right.

Why, the United States doesn't have any enemies, right? We're always the good guy! Right?

This is a great post and worth reading. I don't classify myself as a doomer, but it IS undeniable we live in uncertain times, and people who are still thinking should be wary, and for good reason.

Dom Mac has predicted a stockmarket crash since 1993. Those who listened to him and stayed out of the biggest bullmarket in history, have lost fortunes! Thanks Don! I missed out on the first 3 years of the bull market because of Don. Then I said, SCREWW DON" AND I GOT IN. I HAVE PROSPERED EVER SINCE!!!

DON MACALVANY IS FULL OF HOT AIR! DON'T LISTEN TO HIM!!!

In fairness to Don, whom I greatly respect, the stock market would and should have tanked long ago, had it not been for the intervention of the Plunge Protection Team! They can't keep it up, forever! I, too, recommend reading Don's essay, mentioned above. He makes a lot of sense to me!
