Things to look forward to.

Cheer up lads and lasses all is not lost we still have the prospect of a oil crisis, stock market crash,chinese/russian alliance, global warming, pollution, starvation, numerous viruses, etc, etc, etc. (AS long as we have the freedom to debate such issues) if this is lost the rest does not matter.

Best wishes

We haven't even got close to Infomagic's "wait until March" timeframe.

What did Infomagic write about March failures? Link, please. Thanks.

13th paragraph of his "Lock Time" analogy article that I read on this Forum 1/4/00.

"I don't believe this point will be reached until about the middle of March. And even then we must wait a whole lot longer to watch the target fall down dead. After all, after the shot of 1929, it took several years for most people to realize they were really living in a "depression".

This Infomagic's treatise is based upon his view that "I have always said that Y2K is only the trigger, and the real target is "the economy, stupid. The bullseye is bubble.com... "

He concluded "Lock Time" with "My advice is to wait. Wait for the remaining 90% of business systems to be started on Monday, or Tuesday, or Wednesday, whenever "they" think they have escaped the problem. Then wait a few months more for the truth to come out and the effect of the real failures to be felt. In the meantime ignore the lies, the spin, and hang on to your supplies and preparations."

Perhaps by the middle of the year this forum will again be used as a repository for Y2K-related failres and events.

I'm link-impaired, but the article was available at:
