Dairy Council "Dairy Council Digest"-1999 So much valueable research on why students should eat a certain amount of all the food groups. It gives percentages and statistics. The information is good and reliable. This will be an excellent resource for me.

Glesne, Corrine, "Becoming Qualitative Researchers"-1999 An excellent resource in doing qualitative research. It will be helpful in collecting data and how to read the data after it is collected.

Koenpe "Nutrition: A curriculum Guide" This is an instructional package about teaching nutrition and health. It emphasises that with the knowledge students can make informed decisions on food. If helps see "the big picture" of the major concepts and see the importance of nutrition in health.

Marklen, Robert, Ed.; Smith, Theodore,Ed. "Nutrition Education--Choose Well,Be Well" This guide was developed to make nutrition come alive in the classroom. This will contribute to reaching the expected performance levels of the students in nutrition.

Palmer, Parker J. "The Courage to Teach"1998. This book gives encouragement to teachers. So often teachers lose heart because of all the demands. This is truly a moving and passionate book for a teacher to read when there are so many obstacles to deal with in the teaching profession.
