I am looking for a digital camera that has a remote "snap" function. The current system uses a computer capture card that saves the image from the digital camera. The problem is the cameras automatic focus and other functions are not done until the button on the camera is pressed. The other option would be to use a camcorder because the focus functions are always active, but the resolution is poor.

Which digital cameras have computer actuated controls?
