I am getting the Olympus C 2020. I have seen reference to the panoramic feature of the camera being compatible only with Olympus cards.Is this correct? What size card are most folks using and why? One 32 vs. two 16's? Pros and cons? Great forum, great people, thanks.

Smartmedia cards are manufactured by only two or three differnt companies and the cards are all interchangable. The VOLTAGE of the card is your only concern. Make sure you purchase a card with the correct operating voltage.

My opinion on size? Im a guy. The bigger the better! 1200x1800 images stored with low compression take up almost a meg of storage space apiece. I get 32 shots on a 32 meg card - about the size of a roll of film.

Also, I've purchased 32meg cards at eBay for $69.95. Check them out.

There is a difference between Olympus cards and others. I don't know what it is, but the panoramic feature does not work with other brands.
