K2500XS crashes/bad sample data

I have been experimenting with downloading programs and samples from the internet and may have found a bug that prevents me from listing RAM objects, deleting banks, or saving to floppy disk. In master mode, I can't delete banks (or even call up the object editor) without the unit rebooting when I try. I can only free up memory by deleting individual songs and programs. Also, I can't save anything to disk without it rebooting. I am pretty sure it is related to a sample program I loaded. When in the sample editor I can scroll through all the factory samples just fine, but when I get to the user bank where the corrupt sample data (i think) is, the unit reboots. This has happened before and I have lost my work. Is my 2500 O.K. or is it from downloading corrupted files or something? Somtimes when I download samples they will have clicks and pops in them that get a lot worse when I use even a modest amount of polyphony. Will simply upgrading the PRAM and sample memory solve
