The first printing of the "Murders in the rue Morgue" was in Graham's Lady's and Gentlemen's Magazine in April 1841. The second printing was in 1843 in the "Prose Romances of Edgar A. Poe".

You should check to see who the publisher is if the name is listed.

I have done plenty of research on Edgar Allan Poe and the story "The Murders in the Rue Morgue",according to my information, was printed in 1841
