Nicely done. Good exposure and good eye contact. Not a bad effort at all.

It is unfortunate that the background is so dull. You did the right thing by keeping your lens wide open (I assume this was towards the 300 length?) but you should probably crop the final image tightly.

The shadow to the left of the hind leg is very deep, but I don't see how you could have helped that (no chance of some fill-in flash, was there?).

Another gazelle would have helped as well: the image is a little static.

I think it is a fine animal portrait. I suspect it will not win any major competitions, but it is a good effort that I'd be happy to keep in an album. Next time aim for more dynamics, tighter crop, more even lighting.
