Canon S10 or Casio 2000UX?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

My question is very simple. Which Digital Camera has better picture quality, the Canon S10 or the Casio 2000UX? Until now i get the impression that the Casio if far superior than the little and sexy Canon. Thanks in advance

The S10 is smaller and has better image quality, but the casio has a lot better manual control, and more zoom. Neither takes external flash, both are coming out with 3mpix versions in a couple months.

Bill-

Came up with the same finalists as yourself. Ended up getting the Casio with the 340mb Microdrive from Casio's website. What drove me to the Casio was the value and features. This thing does everything! What I didn't like about the Canon was the 2x zoom (you need all you can get) and the expensive custom battery. I must admit, when I checked out the Canon I was impressed with the size and finish. Check out the reviews of the Casio. It has been called the most underated and ignored digicam out there. I agree!
