optimal print size for 800x600 picture

basically i would like to know what size can i print a picture captured at 800x600 and still have it look like a photo.

for that matter i would like to know the same for 1600x1200 resolution as well... if it matters i have the casio 2000.

Luis, it will depend greatly on your printer. With a top quality printer, and not too much image compression, you can expect very nice 8X10's from 1600X1200 files. Printing at that same resolution will yield prints half that size from 800X600 files.

A program called Genuine Fractals from Altamira Group will allow even larger printed images while maintaining good quality. It is a plug-in for Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro.
