I'm fairly new to digital imaging.I keep hearing about Silverfast drivers for the Nikon LS2000.Is this driver better than the Nikonscan2.5 that came with the scanner?Where can I find this driver? Lastly,does anyone know of a third party how-to publication for theNikon?Any help will be appreciated Jeff Adams

Silverfast is a VERY powerful (and expensive) tool, I use it with the Nikon LS30 and am very pleased with the significantly increased scanning ability/quality etc. that I am getting.

As for 3rd party How-to's you might find that some of the essays at my web site on scanning (Nikons LS2000/30 using 2.5) and those at Steve Hoffmans site for the LS2000 are good starters.
