An interesting and puzzling development.

Well....I bit once, (posted the "Fed problem" which turned out to be a *non* Fed problem on other boards), and it was very bitter!

I will *NOT* do it again.

I wish you all well and a peaceful resolution.

go to the Sierra Times site (i dont have it right now) and read J.J.'s diatribe (dia-TRIBE??)) on the Indians' handling of the situation...he's pulled off the story!

Tom,

I joined the: Native_American@onelist.com just to monitor what was going on re: Pine Ridge, and I'm still confused, since I'm missing the earlier conversations.

As of this morning Wild Horse sent a message... "The web site is going to be back up today."

The group needs a forum rather than an eList, BTW. And it appears they have as much trouble sorting through to the truth as we've had following Y2K isses. Somewhere in there is a "truth" and they'll find it. Meanwhile others have taken some food and supplies to those at the reservation.

It appears there is still a need... and a very real problem.
