I cant believe it is really this bad, are they doing this on purpose or has that many refinaries gone down. why did they announce for the national state of emergency to start at 6:00 a.m. and what does national state of emergency mean.

I think this is bogus....I got five OPIS bulletin notices today, all indicating that: oil is coming in hard and fast into New York Harbor, some refineries changing their operations to provide more heating oil, and expected price declines in the near future....if this is the straight story, John, I sure wish you'd get us a good link here.

You *may* be a troll, but you may just be inappropriately using terms. Could you give an explanation of what state or region the "state of emergency" was called for and why? And you can't believe the U.S. has nationalized oil, so what were you trying to say (in detail)?

the point is this forum has grown to large with to much speculation and rumour mongering. it works many diffrent ways, fake stories get posted and things that could be y2k event are posted even when it is unsure if its y2k related.i did this as a reminder to take everything with a grain of salt.i also think it proves a point that misinformation could come in the oppisite way, meaning coverups or "its wasnt y2k related". i think due to timing we can say that tthe y2k bug is biting, but we still cant say how much, and we wont know till the bug bites us. i think y2k could still domino if oil and chemical plants continue to fail.
