Can i be made bankrupt, by lenders solicitor? What is the process, Any web sites, legal notes i should be looking at?

Yes you can - if you have enough money to make it worthwhile. Bankruptcy will ensure that about 15% of what you have goes to the Crown and allows yo to live a "comfortable" life (eg including holidays) so it doesn't get that much cash for lenders and is therefore not a preferred option. Unless you have plenty of cash.
