I bought a Digital Cam Corder in USA that is PAL (Aust) format. I had some software sent over $180 from Aus which downloads .BMP files to folders or albums on my win95 or win98 laptop. The Corder uses a standard RS232C 9 pin cable. I want to know can I use any other flavour of software to download and create image files to send via e-mail. To say I am disappointed with Pansonics offering is an understatement. There must be something better!!!!! This Cam corder has the capability of storing SNAPS captured durig filming or frame grabing from the recorded portion. The images look fantastic on the TV when replayed so qulaity is good but not for the images.

Any help would be appreciated.
