Some speculation that he'd cancelled. Not yet!

FM,

We're working on the invitation art. Meg's idea was a cartoonish drawing of a roasted Paul with an apple in his mouth. Paul said he liked that idea a lot. Hey, Paul really as a sense of humor too.

Stan,

I think anyone who's actually spent some time talking to Paul recognizes that he does, indeed, have a sense of humor, a.k.a. the "Milne Dunking Booth," etc.

How does this reconcile him with his dire postings over at c.s.y2k? Well he described that newsgroup once as "bloodsport." (Just one of many reasons I never posted there! LOL!)

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

He said the pig-pickin' was always scheduled for July.....Heck, I can pick pigs anytime.

Now, to the real questions at hand.....When is the barbeque? Where is the barbeque? Who is being barbequed - other than the afore-mentioned "picked pig"? How do you prepare "roast troll" for ten million?

Which flavors of home-brew are being brought? Who brings the dry ice? The dehydrated ice? The dehydrated beer? The de-hyphenated beer? The re-hyphenated beer? The dry beer? The wet beer?

Will Mr. K attend?

Robert,

Will you be leading the fruitcake bearers at the pig pickin'?

Robert,

Dehydrated beer? Forgive me, 'cause I thought I'd heard of everything. (I mean I've heard about "CAN 'O CRICKET," so what could be left?)

Dehydrated beer?

Newsflash!!!

I talked to Paul's wife tonight, after which I emailed him to respond to the inquiries on this forum.

He was asleep! (Even while President Clinton was delivering his State of the Union Address!) Why, Oh Why, Oh Why?

At any rate,

'Tis possible we may hear from him soon.

I certainly hope we hear form him soon. I'm gonna need to know whether I need 1, 2, or 3 weeks to get to all the places I think I want to go. UNK is having a party, Paul is doing a roast which i THOUGHT was set for July 4 weekend, and my college is doing reunion weekend the 4th. I'm torn between contributing the target and then the kindling for the pig roast fire at Paul's party and going to my 20th grad, and 25th undergrad reunion.

Well folks, I just popped in to see what he was thinking, and Paul's still predicting some nasty times ahead (more to do with banking than Y2k).

At the same time, memories are long on the "party promise!"

To wit:

Cory Hamasaki sez HE plans to attend--assuming, of course, there's something to attend!
